Return Material Authorization Process
- Establishes a uniform procedure for efficient handling of customer returned materials
- Built in document flow depending on type of material received
- Helps in routing the RMR to appropriate departments for recording their findings and recommended dispositions
- Generate various reports that can be used for quality control (e.g. part no, failure classification, vendor etc.)
- An RMR can have multiple line items. Each line item can have its individual workflow
